**Solution Architect - Job Description**

**Role Overview**:
We are seeking a hands-on Solution Architect with deep experience in banking platforms to lead architecture and technical design across the Discovery and Implementation phases for a modular, API-first retail and commercial banking solution. This role will work closely with Stack Digital, Monument Technologies, and end-client teams to define solution blueprints, integration pathways, and align business requirements with scalable system designs.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the architectural definition during Discovery & Design phase, including:

- End-to-end solution architecture
- Integration maps across third-party systems and platform modules
- Alignment with Monument Tech’s existing AWS-native core stack
- Translate business and functional requirements into technical architecture, covering:

- Account servicing, onboarding, lending, deposits, and payments modules
- Client and risk data models
- APIs (GraphQL and REST), microservices, data flows
- Design high-level and low-level architecture artefacts including:

- AWS deployment architecture (ECS, Lambda, S3, CloudWatch)
- Data integration flows (Kafka, PostgreSQL, Glue, Redshift)
- Security and compliance frameworks
- Support UX and product teams by shaping architectural guardrails
- Collaborate with Integration Specialists, BAs, and DevOps to define MVP scope, API contracts, and Dev environments
- Advise on third-party components (e.g. KYC/AML, payment gateways, fraud scoring) and their integration patternsParticipate in technical governance, estimation, and handover planning

Required Skills & Experience:

- 10+ years of experience in architecture roles, ideally in banking, fintech, or digital platforms
- Strong hands-on expertise with:

- AWS stack: ECS, Lambda, S3, CloudWatch, IAM, Glue, Athena, Redshift
- APIs & microservices: GraphQL, REST, event-driven architecture (Kafka)
- Data pipelines & reporting: Redshift, Glue, Athena, QuickSight
- Experience with core banking systems, payment flows, KYC/AML, and account lifecycle management
- Proven delivery of discovery/design artefacts: solution blueprints, integration maps, API contracts, architecture diagrams
- Strong collaboration and documentation skills, able to work across clients, SI teams, and platform vendors.Understanding of security, governance, and regulatory frameworks in banking systems

**Integration Specialist - Job Description**

Role Overview

We are looking for a technically adept Integration Specialist to support the discovery and implementation of a modular, cloud-native banking platform built on a composable architecture. You will work closely with Solution Architects, business analysts, and product owners to design and implement seamless integrations between COTS products (e.g., Mambu, Salesforce, CurrencyCloud) and custom services using modern APIs, messaging systems, and GraphQL.

Key Responsibilities

During Discovery Phase:

- Assess current-state integrations and dependencies across the Monument Tech stack.
- Analyse API documentation of key COTS systems and recommend integration strategies.
- Support design of orchestration layer using GraphQL and REST.
- Identify and document integration touchpoints, data models, and sequence flows.
- Collaborate with BAs to understand functional workflows and map integration requirements.
- Contribute to the Solution Design Package including architecture diagrams and data flow maps.

️ During Implementation Phase:
Build and configure integration adapters/middleware between core systems (e.g., Mambu Salesforce
- Payment gateways).
- Develop and test REST/GraphQL-based integrations with third-party providers (KYC, FX, Payments).
- Set up and maintain Kafka-based messaging topics and microservices hooks.
- Ensure all integrations meet performance, security, and compliance standards.
- Work closely with DevOps to enable CI/CD pipelines for integration components.
- Troubleshoot integration issues and resolve data mapping inconsistencies.Contribute to documentation and handovers for client IT teams.

Must-Have Skills
- Proven experience integrating COTS systems like Mambu, Salesforce, CurrencyCloud, ComplyAdvantage, or equivalent.
- Proficiency in RESTful APIs, GraphQL, OAuth2, and webhooks.
- Hands-on experience with Kafka or other event streaming platforms.
- Experience working with microservices architecture.
- Familiarity with Node.js, Java, or Python for scripting and service adapters.Strong understanding of cloud-native architectures (AWS preferred).

Good-to-Have
- Experience in BFSI domain, especially digital banking, payments, or lending.
- Familiarity with low-code/no-code workflow tools.
- Exposure to security protocols, compliance integrations, and observability tooling (e.g., Datadog).Understanding of data models for MI and regulatory reporting.
