JOB DESCRIPTION: R&D Lab Technician

A leading Textile Screen Printing Inks & Chemical manufacturing division of a renowned Group is offering an excellent opportunity for an individual to contribute to innovative technology and product solutions to deliver growth for various product lines.

This roll calls for
- Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment including glassware, reactors, apparatuses and analytical instrumentation.
- Accurately record and analyse results, solve complex problems, and document conclusions.
- Maintain an organized and safe laboratory environment.
- Willingness and desire to function in a team setting.

What you’ll need to be successful
- 2 to 4 years experience in Industrial Laboratory preferably in emulsion paint and binder industry.
- Documenting procedures and accurate reporting of various experiments and results
- Familiarity with industrial lab safety practices and procedures
- Familiarity with handling hazardous materials safely
- Solid written and oral communication skills
- Effective time management skills
- Looking for highly motivated person with action-oriented personality
- Ability to work independently with supervision in an empowered team atmosphere
- Commitment to teamwork and collaboration
- Must have a high regard for safety of yourself and safety of others
- Strong reading, listening, multitasking, problem solving, time management skills

Qualifications that can set you apart:

- Graduate or post graduate in Chemistry
- Experience working in a lab or manufacturing plant performing emulsion polymerizations
- Chemicals manufacturing experience
- Understanding of common analytical techniques is a plus
