**Position : Mechanical Fitter**

**Location : Tilher (Vasai)**

**Reports to (Position) : Head - Maintenance**

**I. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES**
- Will be responsible for fabricate, fit, and assemble the structural components of various mechanical systems.
- Keeping accurate records of all maintenance work done, repairing malfunctioning mechanical systems, and evening out any rough spots on the fabricated components using grinders, hand files and scrapers.
- Analyzing the blueprints for mechanical systems to determine the specifications of the components to be constructed.
- Creating a suitable maintenance schedule and performing system maintenance accordingly.
- Replacing damaged or defective structural components as needed.
- Complete work orders and record material utilized on jobs.
- Adhering to all work-site safety rules and regulations.
- Adhere to safety protocols and codes/regulations to ensure a safe working environment and prevent hazards. Identify and resolve safety issues promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, maintenance, and inspections. Prepare reports on findings, recommendations, and completed tasks.
- Recommend and install upgrades to systems and equipment to improve efficiency, performance, and energy conservation.

II. KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS REQUIRED FOR THE POSITION

Ø Exceptional welding and mechanical skills

Ø Proficiency in reading and interpreting mechanical blueprints, schematics, and diagrams.

Ø Ability to use a wide range of tools and equipment, such as power tools, testing devices, and meters.

**III. QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED FOR THE POSITION**
- High school diploma or equivalent having 2 to 3 years of experience.
- Completion of Mechanical apprenticeship program or relevant vocational training is preferred.
- Proven experience as a mechanical Fitter or similar role, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing setting.

**Salary**: ₹8,086.00 - ₹27,969.67 per month
