**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Conduct thorough dental examinations, including oral cancer screenings.
- Diagnose dental conditions using clinical assessment, Radiovisiography (RVG)/X-rays, OPG, and other relevant diagnostic aids.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs, preferences, and financial considerations. Clearly explain treatment options, procedures, and associated costs to patients.
- Perform a wide range of general dental procedures competently, including:

- Restorative Dentistry (e.g., fillings - composite/amalgam, GIC)
- Scaling, Polishing, and Root Planing
- Extractions (simple and surgical, as per capability)
- Endodontic Treatment (Root Canal Treatment - specify complexity if needed, e.g., single/multi-rooted)
- Prosthodontics (e.g., Crowns, Bridges, Complete and Partial Dentures)
- Basic management of periodontal conditions.

- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, post-operative care, and preventive strategies.
- Maintain accurate, detailed, and confidential patient records (paper-based or using clinic software
- Strictly adhere to infection control protocols, sterilization procedures, and biomedical waste management guidelines as per DCI/State regulations.
- Collaborate effectively with dental assistants, hygienists (if applicable), specialists, and administrative staff.
- Manage dental emergencies effectively.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in dentistry through Continuing Dental Education (CDE) programs.
- Contribute positively to the clinic's work environment and reputation.

**Required Qualifications**:

- Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) degree from a Dental Council of India (DCI) recognized institution.
- Completion of the mandatory one-year rotatory internship.
- Valid and current registration with the State Dental Council.
- Proven clinical skills in core general dentistry procedures.
- Sound knowledge of dental materials, procedures, and oral pathology.
- Understanding of and commitment to ethical dental practice.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience post-BDS, preferably in a private clinic or hospital setting.
- Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) in any specialty is an advantage but not mandatory for this role.
- Experience with specific technologies like RVG, rotary endodontics.
- Proficiency in Kannada addition to English/Hindi for effective patient communication.
- Basic computer literacy for record keeping or using practice management software.
