**Job Summary**:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented **Freight Agent** to join our logistics team. As a Freight Agent, you will act as an intermediary between shippers and carriers to coordinate and manage freight shipments. Your primary responsibilities will include sourcing carriers, negotiating rates, booking shipments, tracking deliveries, and maintaining excellent customer relationships.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Coordinate and schedule freight shipments with carriers and shippers.
- Negotiate shipping rates and ensure profitability on each load.
- Maintain strong communication with carriers to ensure timely pickups and deliveries.
- Track and trace shipments and provide status updates to clients.
- Develop and maintain a book of business through cold calling and lead generation.
- Ensure all shipments are compliant with DOT and company policies.
- Handle shipping documentation including BOLs, invoices, and carrier agreements.
- Resolve any issues or delays in transit quickly and professionally.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience as a freight agent, freight broker, or in a logistics-related role.
- Strong knowledge of transportation and logistics industry practices.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and customer service skills.
- Proficient with load boards (e.g., DAT, Truckstop), CRM tools, and TMS systems.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and meet targets.
- High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree preferred).

**Preferred Skills**:

- Existing book of business is a strong advantage.
- Experience in specialized freight (e.g., flatbed, reefer, hazmat).
- Familiarity with carrier compliance and safety regulations.

**Compensation**:

- Competitive commission-based pay structure.
- Performance incentives and bonuses.
- Flexible working hours (remote opportunities available).

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month

**Benefits**:

- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
- US shift

Supplemental Pay:

- Commission pay
