**Job Summary**: The PDI In-Charge is responsible for overseeing the Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) process to ensure that all vehicles meet quality and safety standards before delivery to customers. This role involves managing a team of technicians, coordinating with various departments, and maintaining meticulous records of inspections.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Conduct PDI Checks**:

- Perform thorough inspections of vehicles, checking for quality, functionality, and appearance.
- Ensure all vehicles are in compliance with company standards and specifications.
- **Team Management**:

- Lead and supervise a team of technicians and inspectors.
- Provide training and guidance to staff on PDI procedures and best practices.
- **Process Improvement**:

- Develop and implement efficient PDI checklists and processes.
- Identify areas for improvement in the inspection process and recommend changes.
- **Collaboration**:

- Coordinate with sales, service, and logistics departments to facilitate smooth vehicle delivery.
- Address any issues or concerns raised by the sales team or customers.
- **Documentation**:

- Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, and modifications performed during the PDI process.
- Ensure all documentation is completed and filed appropriately.
- **Customer Communication**:

- Communicate with customers regarding the status of their vehicles and any issues that may arise.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve concerns promptly.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
- Proven experience in the automotive industry, particularly in quality assurance or inspection roles.
- Strong knowledge of automotive systems and components.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.

**Working Conditions**:

- This position may require working in a workshop or garage environment.
- May involve occasional overtime or weekend work during peak periods.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹16,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
