Your Key Responsibilities
- Civil design drawings - General Arrangements, Plan & Profiles, Sections and Detail drawings.
- Detailed 3D modelling of civil earthworks including road, drainage and pads (preferably in the resources sector)
- Lead team of civil designers/drafters

Your Capabilities and Credentials
- Ability to lead civil design/drafting team and organise drawing production and timely delivery of quality product.
- Comprehensive 3D Civil Design skills using Bentley OpenRoads and /or 12d Model design software, including drawing deliverable production skills using Bentley MicroStation (experience with AutoCAD may be considered).
- Ability to organise tasks by identifying priorities and allocating resources appropriately.
- Provide technical support and guidance to members of team.
- Work closely with civil engineer and liaise with other discipline leads on multi-discipline projects to the satisfaction of the project manager.

Education and Experience
- Strong preference for previous experience with Australian mining projects (BHP, Rio Tinto)
- B.E. / Diploma Civil with 12 to 16 years of relevant experience
- Experience with Australian transportation agency standards (MRWA, AustRoads) desirable.
- Understanding of workflow from 3D model into 2D drawing
- Proven experience of producing civil design deliverables
