The Product Owner is a key role within ICON, holding responsibility for leadership and oversight of budget, design, development and deployment of new, industry leading, products and / or operational interfaces in order to grow revenues and / or margins, create new strategic business streams, induce operational efficiencies and / or create commercial differentiation. The product owner should strive to be known as the expert in their respective product domains through interaction with the wider ICON organisation.

The Product Owner is required to be fully abreast of the innovation roadmap and other products under development in order to ensure that new products being produced by the Product Owner are complimentary to and enable cross-selling of the other products, whilst ensuring maximum operational efficiency in order to maintain healthy margins.

The Senior Software Engineer is responsible for (but not limited to):

- Recognize, exemplify and adhere to ICON's values which center around our commitment to People, Clients and Performance.
- As a member of staff, the employee is expected to embrace and contribute to our culture of process improvement with a focus on streamlining our processes adding value to our business and meeting client needs.
- Travel (approximately 20%) domestic and/or international.
- Take ownership of the product offerings through requirements analysis, release, early adoption, enhancement and market penetration.
- Ensure that the product complies with all ICON SOPs, Testing and QA requirements. Write new SOP's, business processes, supporting documents etc as required.
- Ensure that products are industry leading, stable, scalable, cost effective and enable cross-selling of other ICON services.
- Responsible for defining adoption and ROI metrics and targets and then rigorously ensuring that ROI and adoption is achieved for each product, as demonstrated in metrics.
- Support the sales team through creation of template sales materials (slides, metrics, videos) and ensure that sales / marketing is on message for the product(s).
- Work closely with team members in order to maximise potential resources and leverage necessary skills to ensure continued product success.
- Partner with other teams, for example software, to ensure strong team spirit and commitment to delivering a common goal.
- To undertake other reasonably related duties as may be assigned from time to time.
