**Job Overview**:
As a **Trend Forecaster for Bags**, you will be responsible for identifying and analyzing emerging trends in the fashion and accessories industry, with a primary focus on bags. You will track global trends, consumer behavior, and technological innovations to provide strategic insights that influence the design, development of new collections. Your expertise will drive the company's product development and merchandising strategies, ensuring our offerings are aligned with the latest fashion movements and consumer desires

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Trend Research & Analysis**: Conduct in-depth research on global fashion trends, street style, runway shows, fashion publications and cultural influences to identify emerging patterns, colors, materials, and styles related to bags.
- **Forecasting**: Provide seasonal and long-term trend forecasting for bags, including predicting shapes, sizes, materials, hardware, and color palettes that will resonate with consumers.
- **Competitive & Market Analysis**: Analyze competitors and market trends, identifying strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats within the bags segment. This includes monitoring new launches and best-sellers from both luxury and mass-market brands.
- **Consumer Insights**: Develop an understanding of target customer profiles and their changing preferences. Conduct surveys, focus groups, and consumer interviews to gather relevant feedback.
- **Collaboration with Design and Product Development**: Work closely with the design team to ensure trends are translated into tangible, market-ready products. Provide detailed trend reports and design recommendations to inform the product development process.
- **Trend Presentation**: Present trend reports and visual boards
- **Material and Technology Exploration**: Stay informed on the latest innovations in materials, sustainable practices, and production technologies relevant to bag design and manufacturing.
- **Market Intelligence**: Regularly monitor global fashion weeks, trade shows, pop culture, and emerging technologies that could impact the bag market.
- **Forecasting Tools & Platforms**: Utilize trend forecasting tools (e.g., WGSN, Trend stop) and data analytics to support decision-making and justify recommendations.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Fashion Merchandising, Trend Forecasting or a related field.

**Skills**:

- Strong analytical and research skills, with the ability to synthesize complex data and predict trends.
- Deep understanding of the fashion industry, particularly the accessories market.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to articulate ideas clearly to both creative and business teams.
- A keen eye for design, shapes, materials, and colors specific to the bag category.
- Proficiency in trend forecasting software and digital tools.
- Strong networking skills to maintain relationships with industry professionals and influencers.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
