- Job SummaryThe Admissions counselor is responsible for recruitment and support of the enrolment efforts of IILM by providing admission information to prospective or newly admitted students. They are also responsible for the outreach programs to promote the university besides creating s0074udent repository and other communication materials. The position requires considerable contact with prospective or newly admitted students.

The admission counselor’s job is both marketing and administrative in nature. He/She should maintain extensive knowledge of the higher education admission requirements, policies and procedures in order to interpret and market it rightly to the prospective students with regard to admissions. Incumbents must be able to implement a comprehensive recruitment strategy within a specific territory or specific population of students and advise students on enrolment requirements.
- Job description- Tele calling, Lead generation, Tracking and follow ups
- Co-coordinating with marketing and sales steam on student enrolment
- Assist with the development of enrolment marketing publications and communications including letters, brochures, website postings, electronic mail and other mediums.
- Presents information about the benefits of the University’s education Program at onsite locations and to on-campus visitors
- Foster and develop relationships with schools or other areas being recruited from. Compile recruitment data from academic records.
- Desired Qualification/ ExperiencePost Graduate/ Graduate with minimum 3 to 5 years of experience. Good communication skills. Prior experience as an admission counselor will be an advantage.
