**Responsibilities**:

- Excellent Knowledge in RDBMS syste and Data Warehouse concepts. Hands-on experience in ETL using Oracle
- Excellent knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL (ideally Oracle 11g/12c/19c) along with query tuning, optimization and advanced PLSQL.
- Hands-on experience in Loading database tables based on external files and experience in migration project like Sybase IQ/Others to Oracle.
- Very good understanding on business requirements and expertise on translating the same into ETL workflows.
- Exposure to banking ERD and DWH model and creation of logical and physical data models adhering to best practices and ensure high data quality and mínimal redundancy.
- Very good understanding on business requirements and expertise on translating the same into data models. Maintain conceptual, logical and physical data models along with corresponding metadata.
- Optimize and update logical and physical data models to as per enhancement or new request. Evaluate data models and physical databases for variances and discrepancies.
- Perform reverse engineering of physical data models from databases and SQL scripts. Analyze data-related system integration challenges and propose better solutions.
- Good in writing packages/Stored Procedures, functions based on existing script or code in other tech stack.
- Very good in optimizing view/SP SQL and able to create, alter views. Hands-on experience in analyzing the query plans and make changes to improve the performance accordingly.
- Hands-on experience in Partitioning tables, partition exchange, global temporary tables, compute stats and index management.
- Analyze data-related system integration challenges and propose better solutions. Good in writing ETL pipelines based on existing script or code in other tech stack.
- Hands-on experience in analyzing the query plans and make changes to improve the performance accordingly.
- Develop packages/procedures and shell scripts for data migration & provide timely scheduled management reporting
- Knowledge of Scripting Languages like shell for automating the tasks. Hands-on experience with Scheduling tools like Autosys.
- Consult with users, clients, and other technology groups on issues, and recommend programming solutions, install, and support customer exposure systems
- Identify problems, analyze information, and make evaluative judgements to recommend and implement solutions
- Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision. Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy.
- Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members.
- Manage a team of Applications Development professionals to accomplish established goals and conduct personnel duties for team (e.g. performance evaluations, training and development, hiring and disciplinary actions) as well as act as an advisor or coach to mid-level developers and analysts
- Oversee process for technical issue escalation and prioritize technical issue resolution
- Communicate internal and external departmental interdependence as well as cross product and cross project
- Contribute to planning, budget management, formulation of procedures, and resource planning negotiating with external parties when necessary

**Qualifications**:

- 8+ years of relevant experience in the Data modeling, RDBMS, SQL (Oracle SQL, PL/SQL)
- 3+ years of hands on experience in developing ETL solutions
- Experience in Data warehousing, data analysis, database design and ETL concepts
- Good to have Financial services industry experience
- Experience in managing and implementing successful projects
- Ability to take ownership and make technical decisions on software development projects
- Experience with dependency management, change management, continuous integration testing tools, and audit/compliance requirements
- Extensive knowledge of software engineering and object-oriented design
- Demonstrated leadership and management skills
- Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication

**Education**:

- Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
