The Industry Innovation and Solutions Team enriches and augments Cognite products and platforms by developing “pathways to product” through the creation of innovative solutions, repeatable templates, and frameworks. The team comprises cross-functional and cross-technology experts responsible for delivering advanced domain and technology advisory services that drive the success of customer engagements. This team plays a pivotal role in landing initial offerings and integrating Cognite Products with tailored services, ensuring that our solutions meet the evolving needs of our clients and driving customer success. The team maintains a keen awareness of the competitive and partnering ecosystem, providing strategic insights that address key business and technical challenges our customers face. The team is deeply involved in programs to improve operational efficiency, repeatability, and scalability.

Solution Architects within the team develop and implement templates and frameworks that enable our delivery resources to execute projects more effectively, thereby enhancing the overall success of our engagements.

As a Solutions Architect, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and architect scalable AI solutions that integrate seamlessly with existing systems. You will collaborate with Product, Global Customer Success and Sales to drive the development of AI frameworks and tools, focusing on generative AI, AI agents, and the latest AI technologies. Additionally, you will provide technical leadership, mentor software engineers, and stay ahead of the latest trends in AI to ensure our solutions remain at the forefront of the industry. Your contributions will be critical in developing AI agents that can autonomously execute tasks, adapt to changing environments, and interact effectively with users and other systems, leveraging the latest advancements in AI & generative AI.

**A typical day as a Cogniter will contain the following tasks & responsibilities**:

- Integrations are well thought out and robust Important quality criteria for the solution are met (E.g. CI/CD, logging, security)
- Operational responsibility and support agreements for the delivered solution are clearly defined
- Design overall technical solution and ensure technical fit within the customer ecosystem and target architecture
- Design integration and data model using Cognite data connectors, Cognite platform components, SQL, Python/Java and Rest APIs
- Advisor to our customers and partners on Cognite Data Fusion, Cognite Atlas AI and Cognite products, solutions, and platforms
- Design, develop, and implement generative AI solutions with a strong focus on AI agents, multi-agent systems, and the latest generative AI technologies to drive business innovation and enhance customer experiences.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications for generative AI solutions.
- Architect scalable AI solutions, including AI agents, that integrate seamlessly with existing systems and leverage cutting-edge technologies.
- Drive development of AI frameworks, and tools, with a particular emphasis on generative AI, AI agents, natural language processing (NLP), agent orchestration, and reinforcement learning.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to software engineers, with a focus on developing skills in generative AI, AI agents, and advanced AI technologies.
