Milk Collection Officer

Responsible for sustainable milk collection from farmer sources with having a strong focus on dairy development via veterinary & agricultural extension services. The position is responsible to achieve the KPIs of milk volume, quality, farm growth and for engagement on dairy development activities. This role requires to develop, coach and train farmers on various aspects of dairy farming. The position is also responsible for creating facilitation for farmers in provision of dairy farm inputs from industry stakeholders.

Masters Preferably Doctor of Veterinary Medicine

Having 2-3 years of relevant working experience

- Vacancy description- Responsible for long term sustainable farmer source development to fulfill business demands of volume, quality & sustainability.
- To develop a knowledge base and awareness at farm level to produce cost effective and quality milk through better livestock management.
- Capacity building and trainings on dairy development of field operation team
- To ensure all the activities are being recorded on the standardized formats and then analyze them to see the impacts of these activities on the economics of the farmers and achieving the targets of direct source volume.
- Regular data collection of farm economics from selected farms and provision of various dairy business reports to management on monthly basis
- Send reports of all the activities to the management at the end of each month with in four days.
- Liaison with Govt., NGOs and other industry stakeholders for the development of dairy sector
- To identify problem related to animals’ health care and continuously search for the solutions.
- Promote company image as “Farmer’s best business partner”
- Promotion of animal comfort, animal welfare & safety protocols implementation at farms
- Management of better animal nutrition & breeding protocols at farms for higher per animal productivity.
