**Position**: Speech and Hearing Therapist
**Location**:Tingre Nagar
**Reports to**: Clinical Head / Center Director

**Role Overview**

The Speech and Hearing Therapist will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating individuals with speech, language, voice, fluency, and hearing impairments. The role involves working closely with children and/or adults, families, and a multidisciplinary team to provide effective therapy and rehabilitation.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Conduct detailed assessments for speech, language, communication, and hearing impairments.
- Develop individualized therapy plans based on assessment outcomes.
- Deliver one-on-one and group therapy sessions for patients with communication or hearing difficulties.
- Work with pediatric and/or adult clients depending on case requirements (e.g., developmental delays, autism spectrum disorder, neurological conditions, post-stroke rehabilitation, or hearing loss).
- Counsel and educate parents, caregivers, and families on therapy techniques and home-based programs.
- Collaborate with physiotherapists, occupational therapists, psychologists, and medical professionals for holistic rehabilitation.
- Maintain accurate patient records, progress notes, and reports.
- Stay updated with the latest techniques, tools, and assistive technologies for speech and hearing rehabilitation.

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in **Audiology & Speech-Language Pathology (BASLP/MASLP)** or equivalent.
- Diploma in speech and hearing Impairement will also do.
- RCI (Rehabilitation Council of India) registration **mandatory**.
- Prior experience with pediatric or adult neuro cases preferred.
- Strong communication, empathy, and interpersonal skills.

**Desired Skills**
- Expertise in handling speech and language delays, stammering, articulation disorders, and auditory-verbal therapy.
- Ability to design therapy plans tailored to age, condition, and goals.
- Familiarity with hearing aids, cochlear implant rehabilitation, and alternative communication systems (AAC).
- Patience and adaptability in working with individuals across diverse needs.
