We are a running a PG hostel catering to the needs of students and young professionals. As a Hostel Cook, you will be responsible for planning and preparing meals for our residents, ensuring they receive nutritious and delicious food. Your culinary skills will be put to the test as you create a variety of dishes, including Chinese, North Indian, and South Indian cuisines. You will work closely with the kitchen team to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards, while also adhering to dietary restrictions and preferences.

**Responsibilities**:

- Plan and prepare daily meals, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner, for hostel residents.
- Ensure all meals are prepared in a timely manner and meet quality standards.
- Create diverse menus that cater to different tastes and dietary requirements.
- Maintain inventory of kitchen supplies and place orders as needed.
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation regulations at all times.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
- Accommodate special requests and dietary restrictions of residents.
- Keep kitchen area clean and organized, including washing dishes and sanitizing surfaces.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a cook, preferably in a hostel or similar setting.
- Proficiency in preparing Chinese, North Indian, and South Indian cuisines.
- Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing menus and dietary requirements.
- Positive attitude and passion for cooking.
