Job Location : Kottayam
Timings: Mon - Fri (9.15 Am - 5.30 Pm), Saturdays 9.15 Am to 2.30 Pm
Nature of Job : Offline Job
Experience : Minimum 1-3 years of work experience in content writing
Education : Any Degree / PG
- Content Writer is responsible for crafting compelling and informative content that targets international students with the aim of promoting overseas educational opportunities.
- This role involves producing high-quality written materials, such as website content, blog posts, social media updates, and marketing materials, while staying current with industry trends and ensuring SEO optimization for increased visibility.
- Content writers collaborate with various teams, maintain brand consistency, manage content calendars, and use analytics to refine strategies, ultimately playing a pivotal role in attracting and guiding prospective international students in their educational journey abroad.
- The Content Writer will be responsible for developing and creating content for print and digital media.
- The Content Writer will also conduct research on industry-related topics and ensure that the content is relevant and appealing to the target audience.
**Duties & Responsibilities**:
- Research industry-related topics.
- Write clear marketing copy to promote our products/services.
- Prepare well-structured drafts using Content Management Systems.
- Proofread and edit blog posts before publication.
- Submit work to editors for input and approval.
- Coordinate with marketing and design teams to illustrate articles.
- Conduct simple keyword research and use SEO guidelines to increase web traffic.
- Promote content on social mediaIdentify customers’ needs and gaps in our content and recommend new topics.
- Ensure all-around consistencyUpdate website content as needed.
**Requirements**:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated experience in writing blogs, articles, and other forms of web content.
- Experience in conducting research to create informative and compelling content.
- Ability to understand the target audience and develop content that resonates with them.
- Experience in SEO optimization and keyword research is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communication, English, or a related field.
- Ability to manage several projects at once while meeting tight deadlines.
- Experience in writing content for the education or immigration industry is a plus.
- Experience in writing in a non-discriminatory and gender-neutral writing is a plus.
- Portfolio of published articles.
- Experience doing research using multiple sources.
- Familiarity with web publications.
- Excellent writing and editing skills in EnglishHands-on experience with Content Management Systems (e.g. WordPress).
- Ability to meet deadlines.
Pay: ₹23,000.00 - ₹28,000.00 per month
