Education Counselor

Key Result Area (KRA) of Overseas Education Counselor:
**Student Counseling and Guidance**:
Assist students in identifying their educational goals and recommend suitable study programs or institutions based on their interests, academic background, and career aspirations.
Conduct individual counseling sessions to address students' concerns, answer their queries, and provide guidance on choosing the right course, university, and country for their study abroad experience.
Stay updated with the latest trends and developments in the field of overseas education to provide relevant and informed advice to students.

**Application and Documentation Support**:
**Visa and Immigration Assistance**:
Stay informed about the latest immigration policies and regulations of various countries to provide accurate information and advice to students.
Liaise with embassies, consulates, and relevant authorities to address visa-related issues or concerns that students may encounter.

**Relationship Management**:
Develop and maintain strong relationships with universities, colleges, and other educational institutions abroad to stay updated on their programs, admission requirements, and scholarship opportunities.
Collaborate with educational representatives, agents, and consultants from different countries to exchange information and expand the network of overseas education opportunities.
Build and maintain a positive rapport with students and their parents or guardians, providing continuous support and assistance throughout the entire process.
Attend educational fairs, seminars, and workshops to enhance knowledge, network with industry professionals, and promote the services of the counseling center.

**Performance Tracking and Reporting**:
Prepare regular reports and analysis on the counseling center's performance, including student enrollment, conversion rates, and satisfaction levels.
Identify areas of improvement and propose strategies to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of the counseling services provided.

Eligibility Criteria for Overseas Education Counselor:
**Education**:
Minimum requirement: Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university.
Preferred qualification: Master's in Business Administration (MBA) or related field (for freshers).

**Experience**:
Minimum experience requirement: At least 1-2 years of relevant experience in the field of overseas education counseling or related roles (for graduates).
For freshers with an MBA degree: Prior experience in counseling or customer service roles will be advantageous but not mandatory.

**Knowledge and Skills**:
Strong understanding of the education system, admission processes, and visa requirements of popular study destinations.
Up-to-date knowledge of various study programs, universities, and countries offering overseas education opportunities.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively counsel and guide students from diverse backgrounds.
Ability to provide accurate and unbiased advice while considering students' academic abilities, interests, and career goals.
Proficiency in using relevant software and online tools for data management, communication, and research purposes.
Cultural sensitivity and awareness to work effectively with students from different countries and backgrounds.
Problem-solving skills to address challenges and provide timely solutions to students' inquiries and concerns.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.

**Language Proficiency**:
Fluent verbal and written communication skills in English are essential.
Proficiency in additional Gujarati language spoken by the student populationmay be advantageous.

**Ethical Standards**:
Demonstrated commitment to maintaining ethical standards, confidentiality, and integrity in counseling practices.
Adherence to professional codes of conduct and guidelines related to overseas education counseling.

**Salary**: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
