Stores Assistant

We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented **Stores Assistant** to support day-to-day materials management activities. The role will involve handling receipt, storage, issuance, and record-keeping of raw materials, consumables, and finished goods across the plant’s stores.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Receive materials (raw materials, bought-out items, consumables) and verify them against purchase orders and invoices.
- Maintain proper documentation of inward and outward materials including **Goods Receipt Note (GRN)** entries.
- Store items in an organized and safe manner, following inventory norms.
- Issue materials to production as per indents and maintain daily issue records.
- Keep real-time stock updates in registers or ERP/system software.
- Conduct periodic **physical stock verification** and reconcile with system records.
- Coordinate with the Purchase and Quality departments for material clearance, shortages, or rejection cases.
- Maintain cleanliness, labeling, and safe handling practices within the store area.
- Monitor **minimum and maximum stock levels** and inform supervisors about replenishment needs.
- Assist in **dispatches and packing** of finished goods or customer-bound materials.

**Requirements**:

- 1-3 years of experience in storekeeping, preferably in a **manufacturing environment**:

- Basic knowledge of **store inventory systems or ERP software**:

- Proficient in **MS Excel and documentation**:

- Physically fit to manage handling and shifting of materials when required
- Ability to work systematically and with attention to detail

Pay: ₹180,000.00 - ₹220,000.00 per year
