Introduction:
As An API Technology Tester you will be working on building a cutting edge cloud native, micro service / service mesh based APIs. You will be working in Kanban / agile teams with Automation Engineers, Java Developers and DevOps Engineers with a mix of on and off shore teams.

You will be responsible for defining the test strategy for the platform itself including functional, security and performance test strategies and the platforms providing a test framework to be used by the federated API development teams who build the actual apis.

What will you be doing?
- Leading a team to deliver features on the Salesform Platform.
- Ability to develop Automation framework for Salesforce.
- Taking the ownership of a release and deliver as per schedule & quality requirements.
- Participate in agile ceremonies providing story points and estimates for tasks.
- Ensure that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements, Enterprise Wide Risk Management Framework and internal Barclays Policies and Policy Standards.
- responsible for creating and maintaining Live proving scripts certificates and carry forward the Functional & Security conformance for the program as per the Regulatory timelines. The role requires multiple stakeholder management across Run the Bank Business Multiple component teams (RPS ROLB BMB Falcon BDN & API Engineering) and manage the delivery of BAU test support based on the release schedule.

What We’re Looking For:

- Salesforce as a Platform knowledge
- Exposure in Gherkin, JUnit, Selenium 3.0, API’s, Selenium locators, Cucumber, Provar, Karate
- Experience with performance testing tools
- Awareness/Understanding of GIT, STASH, Jenkins, TeamCity, Maven
- Wire Mock or equivalent service virtualisation tool
- Testing APIs and Web Applications

Skills that will help you in the role:

- Graduate with software engineering background
- Domain/Testing/Technical certification will be an advantage
- Experience with cloud technology such as open shift, AWS
