**ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:
The incumbent shall be responsible for overseeing financial operations to ensure regulatory compliance and strategic financial management with a focus on the following areas:
1. Manage day-to-day operations of the finance department, including accounting, budgeting, and financial reporting.
2. Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the accuracy of financial data.
3. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements following regulatory standards and company policies.
4. Conduct variance analysis and provide explanations for budget variances to senior management.
5. Manage cash flow and liquidity, including forecasting and monitoring of cash reserves.
6. Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory agencies during audits and examinations.
7. Lead budgeting and forecasting process, collaborating with department heads to develop accurate financial plans.
8. Evaluate financial performance and identify opportunities for cost optimization and revenue enhancement.
9. Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making and business planning.
10. Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations and ensure compliance with relevant standards, including those set by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI).

C. TYPE OF ORGANISATION WHERE THE CANDIDATE SHOULD HAVE WORKED- Any industry. Work experience in Turnkey, Equipment Supply, EPC, or MEP company
**EDUCATIONAL & TECHNICAL QUALIFICATIONS**
A. MINIMUM QUALIFICATION - Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics
B. ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATION(S) DESIRABLE
C. SPECIFIC CERTIFICATIONS REQUIRED - ADD
**COMPENSATION RANGE**: Annual CTC Rs. 5-8 lpa.
**ESSENTIAL JOB KNOWLEDGE**
(Knowledge is the body of information that a person needs to have and that is required to do the job.)
- Understanding of financial accounting principles and practices, taxation laws (including GST), familiarity with the guidelines of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI).
- Knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance and reporting requirements.
**ESSENTIAL SKILLS**
(Skills refers to the ability of a person to use knowledge effectively and readily in execution or performance. These include both technical skills, which are tangible hard skills that are knowledge or experience-based, and soft skills, personality traits, usually interpersonal skills that affect a person’s ability to do a job well).
Examples: Some generic skills are commonly required for almost all types of jobs - The ability to communicate in English/Other languages, the ability to write reports, and business correspondence. There may be other skills that are specific to a job - use of specific software, ability to make/read engineering drawings, data analysis, etc.
1. Advanced proficiency in financial software and tools along with Microsoft Office tool
2. Effective communication skills in English and potentially local languages
3. Strong analytical abilities to interpret financial data
4. ERP software - such as Tally, SAP, Quickbooks, ERPNext, etc
