Job Description - Offshore Wind Farm Expert

**Location**: Tuticorin, Tamil Nadu, India

Qualification:

- Graduate degree in Engineering or Science from a recognized university.
- Postgraduate degree in Renewable Energy or Offshore Engineering (preferred but not mandatory).

**Experience**:

- Minimum 10 years of experience in offshore wind farm projects.
- Proven track record of successfully executing at least two (2) full-cycle EPC/Turnkey offshore wind farm projects, from concept design to commissioning.

Key Responsibilities / Deliverables:

- Lead and manage the end-to-end execution of offshore wind farm projects in Tuticorin, including design, engineering, procurement, construction, installation, and commissioning.
- Oversee marine operations, subsea cable laying, offshore substation installation, and turbine erection.
- Ensure compliance with technical, safety, environmental, and regulatory standards, including DNV-GL and IEC guidelines.
- Prepare and monitor project schedules, budgets, and resource plans to achieve timely and cost-effective project delivery.
- Collaborate with clients, contractors, vendors, and government authorities to ensure smooth approvals and execution.
- Identify project risks and develop risk mitigation strategies.
- Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team, building local capability and knowledge transfer.
- Provide technical expertise and support in tender evaluation, feasibility studies, and execution planning.

Skills & Competencies:

- In-depth knowledge of offshore wind turbines, foundations, subsea cabling systems, offshore substations, and related infrastructure.
- Strong expertise in marine logistics, heavy-lift operations, and offshore construction techniques.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficient in project management tools such as Primavera or MS Project.
- Knowledge of HSE best practices and offshore safety management.

Preferred Certifications:

- PMP® or PRINCE2® (Project Management).
- Offshore safety certifications such as BOSIET or GWO.

Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹500,000.00 per month
