**Job Description - Data Scientist (AI/ML & Data Engineering Focus)**

**Position Overview**:
We are seeking a **Data Scientist** with strong expertise in **AI/ML and Data Engineering** to design data pipelines, build machine learning models, and deploy scalable AI-driven solutions. The role requires a balance of **statistical analysis, machine learning expertise, and data engineering skills** to transform raw data into actionable insights and intelligent systems.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Collect, clean, and transform large structured and unstructured datasets for analysis and model training.
- Develop, train, and evaluate **machine learning & deep learning models** for predictive and prescriptive analytics.
- Design and maintain **data pipelines, ETL/ELT workflows, and real-time data processing systems**.
- Deploy ML models into production using **MLOps practices**, ensuring scalability and reliability.
- Collaborate with engineers, analysts, and product managers to deliver end-to-end AI solutions.
- Implement **data governance, quality checks, and performance optimization** for analytical workflows.
- Communicate complex data insights in clear, actionable ways to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

**Required Skills & Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s/Master’s in Data Science, Computer Science, AI/ML, Statistics, or related field.
- Strong programming skills in **Python and SQL** (R/Scala is a plus).
- Hands-on experience with **machine learning frameworks** (Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
- Proficiency in **big data technologies** (Spark, Hadoop, Kafka) and data warehouses (Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery).
- Knowledge of **cloud platforms** (AWS, GCP, Azure) for AI/ML deployment.
- Familiarity with **MLOps tools** (MLflow, Kubeflow, Airflow, Docker, Kubernetes).
- Strong grasp of **data visualization** tools (Tableau, Power BI, Matplotlib, Seaborn).
- Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills.

**Preferred Qualifications (Good to Have)**:

- Experience with **deep learning (NLP, computer vision, recommendation systems)**.
- Background in **real-time analytics and event-driven architectures**.
- Prior experience deploying AI/ML solutions in production at scale.
- Graduation before 2023 (Application accepted till 2022 Batch only)
