**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Safe Driving**: Operate company vehicles safely while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations.
- **Vehicle Maintenance**: Ensure the vehicle is clean, well-maintained, and in good working condition. Regularly check the vehicle's tires, oil, and other essential systems.
- **Timely Travel**: Transport goods, passengers, or equipment to various locations in Ernakulam and surrounding areas as directed.
- **Route Planning**: Plan and follow the most efficient routes to reach destinations, avoiding unnecessary delays or detours.
- **Customer Service**: Provide friendly and professional service to passengers or clients, ensuring a comfortable journey.
- **Record Keeping**: Maintain records of vehicle mileage, fuel consumption, and maintenance logs.
- **Punctuality**: Ensure on-time arrivals and departures for all scheduled trips or appointments.
- **Handling Deliveries (if applicable)**: Load and unload items, ensuring proper handling and delivery of goods.
- **Adherence to Policies**: Follow company policies, including safety procedures, to ensure a smooth and secure operation.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a driver, with a valid driving license (LMV) for at least 2 years.
- Strong knowledge of local roads and traffic regulations in Ernakulam and surrounding areas.
- Ability to communicate effectively in both English and Malayalam (or local language).
- A clean driving record with no major violations.
- Ability to handle a variety of vehicles (cars, vans, etc.).
- Basic mechanical skills to manage minor vehicle issues (e.g., tire changes, oil refills).
- Physical ability to load/unload goods (if required).
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent customer service skills and a positive attitude.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Previous experience driving for a corporate organization.
- Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance.
