Social Work Intern

**Job Summary**:
**We are looking for a highly motivated intern to assist in the day-to-day operations, communications, and reporting tasks**. The intern will also be required to travel to various centres and communities, providing on-site support. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience in both operation and project management and communications.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Administrative & Operational Support**:

- Assist in scheduling and coordinating meetings with internal teams, skilling partners, and youth.
- Maintain organized documentation of all activities and ensure information is regularly updated.
- Provide additional operational support as needed, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and on time.

**Stakeholder Coordination**:

- Coordinate with various stakeholders, including skilling partners, employers, and Opportunity Youth, to facilitate the smooth execution of programs.
- Assist in the planning and coordination of events, workshops, and meetings with stakeholders.
- Act as a liaison between youth and stakeholders to foster stronger relationships.

**Youth Engagement & Testimonial Creation**:

- Meet with opportunity youth to understand their experiences and collect video testimonials.
- Engage with youth across communities, ensuring they are actively participating in the initiatives.
- Assist in gathering feedback from placed and unplaced youth to improve programs.

**Social Media Management**:

- Manage social media platforms by creating, uploading, and scheduling content.
- Engage with followers, respond to inquiries, and help grow the organization’s social media presence.
- Collaborate with the communications team to ensure alignment of messaging and content strategies.

**Reporting & Documentation**:

- Maintain accurate records and reports on placed and unplaced youth.
- Support in preparing monthly progress reports, impact stories, and case studies for internal and external use.
- Ensure timely submission of reports to the Reporting Manager.

**Event Support**:

- Provide logístical and administrative support for the upcoming GOYN Global Convening and other key events.
- Help prepare presentations, reports, and materials for the convening and ensure smooth event execution.
- Assist in managing event communications, including invitations, follow-ups, and confirmations.

**Miscellaneous Tasks**:

- Assist in creating presentations for internal and external meetings.
- Support the team with any additional requirements, ensuring seamless coordination across all activities.
- Ensure all required information is submitted to the Reporting managers on time.

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- Any Bachelor’s Degree
- Strong interest in social media management and operations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Willingness to travel to different centers.
- Familiarity with social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.).
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
