**Role Description**

This is a full-time remote role for a Database Administrator - MS SQL and RDS at Trine Partners. The Database Administrator will be responsible for database administration, design, troubleshooting, replication, and ensuring the efficiency and security of databases on Microsoft SQL Server and Amazon RDS platforms.
- Database Administration and Database Design skills
- Strong knowledge of MS SQL Server and Amazon RDS
- Knowledge of High Availability solutions, such as Mirroring, Replication, Clustering, & Always On (Availability Groups)
- Understanding of database security users and roles
- Troubleshooting and Databases management experience with experience in data recovery techniques from backup/restore
- Experience building, operating, and maintaining compliant computing environments in AWS
- Solid understanding of various AWS Data services
- Experience and knowledge of AWS data analytics tools such as Athena, Glue, RedShift, RDS, Step Functions and other databases such as MS SQL Server
- Experience and knowledge of AWS data management tools such as AWS Lake Formation, Amazon S3, DMS, AWS MSK or Apache Kafka
- Strong knowledge of database design, data modeling, and data warehousing principles
- Experience with data migrations from legacy on-premises systems to AWS cloud
- Experience with AWS cloud-native infrastructure (e.g EC2, VPC, Security Groups, IAM Policies)
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with programming/scripting languages (e.g Powershell, Python)
- Have good understanding of source code softwares like Git or GitHub or TFS
- Have the ability to establish and enforce database standards and best practices
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Should have certification in AWS Data engineer associate, or AWS Database specialty, or AWS Data Analytics specialty
- Experience with Replication technologies
- Ability to work independently and remotely
- Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified Database Administrator (MCDBA) or AWS Certified Database - Specialty

**Qualifications**
- 5+ years of professional experience with database technologies, with a proven track record in AWS-based cloud architecture. Strong executive presence, capable of engaging with senior executives and influencing strategic decisions.
- Solid experience with MS SQL Server and RDS
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical solutions in a clear and compelling manner. Experience in driving growth and demonstrating proactive leadership within CTO organizations.
- Extensive experience with AWS technologies, data engineering, and developing cloud-based solutions tailored to industry-specific needs.
- A forward-thinker who can craft and drive long-term strategic initiatives, ensuring the alignment of technology with evolving business needs.
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- AWS certification
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

Pay: From ₹850,000.00 per year
