**The Job**

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform day to day bookkeeping, including analysing, verifying, classifying, and recording of the sales, purchases and expenses.
- Reconcile the accounts payable/receivable ledger to ensure that all bills and payments are accounted for and properly posted.
- Verify and investigate discrepancies, if any, by reconciling bank accounts and monthly bank statements.
- Develop a deep understanding of our expense accounts, cost centres and intercompany accounts.
- Process outgoing/incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures.
- Generate reports detailing stocks, accounts payable/receivable statements.

**About You**
- At least 3 - 4 years of experience in a fast paced environment preferably in ecommerce
- In depth knowledge about UK / EU accounting
- Relevant qualification would be someone with a BCom/ MCom degree
- Experience working with Sage Accounting Software
- Advanced skill in MS Office Suit and other online productivity tools
- Problem solving mindset
- Excellent standard of verbal and written English
- Agile in thought and action
