**Position**:Physical Training Instructor (PTI) Teacher

**Position Overview** - The Physical Training Instructor (PTI) Teacher is responsible for designing and implementing physical education programs that promote physical fitness, health, and well-being among students. This role involves teaching physical activities, sports, and health education to students of various age groups, and fostering an environment that encourages physical activity, teamwork, and personal growth.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop and deliver engaging physical education lessons that align with curriculum standards and educational goals.
- Create a diverse range of activities, including individual and team sports, fitness exercises, and recreational games.
- Incorporate principles of health and wellness into lesson plans, emphasizing the importance of lifelong physical activity.
- Ensure a safe and organized environment for physical activities, including proper setup and maintenance of equipment.
- Establish and enforce rules for safe participation and behavior during physical activities.
- Promote a positive and inclusive atmosphere where all students feel encouraged to participate and excel.
- Assess and track student progress in physical skills, fitness levels, and overall participation.
- Provide regular feedback to students and parents on physical development and performance.
- Adapt instruction and activities to meet the needs of students with varying abilities and interests.
- Educate students on the importance of physical fitness, healthy eating, and overall wellness.
- Integrate health education topics such as nutrition, personal hygiene, and mental well-being into the curriculum.
- Encourage students to set and achieve personal fitness goals.
- Maintain open lines of communication with students, parents, and colleagues regarding physical education programs and student progress.
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to support cross-curricular learning and integrate physical activity into the school day.
- Participate in school events, sports teams, and extracurricular activities as required.
- Stay current with developments in physical education, sports science, and health education.
- Attend professional development workshops, conferences, and training sessions.
- Continuously seek ways to improve teaching practices and enhance the physical education program.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and assessments.
- Prepare and submit reports as required by school administration.
- Manage inventory and maintenance of physical education equipment and resources.

**Qualifications**:

- Master’s degree in Physical Education, Sports Science, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of physical fitness, sports, and health education principles.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to motivate and inspire students of diverse backgrounds and abilities.
- First aid and CPR certification (preferred).
