- **Material Management**: Receive, inspect, and store materials and equipment in a designated area.
- **Inventory Control**: Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing materials, conducting regular stock counts to ensure accuracy.
- **Stock Rotation**: Manage stock levels and ensure that older stock is used first (FIFO - First-In, First-Out) to prevent obsolescence.
- **Record Keeping**: Maintain a logbook of material receipts, issues, and dispatches.
- **Coordination**: Liaise with suppliers, contractors, and other departments regarding material needs and deliveries.
- **Safety and Security**: Ensure materials are stored safely and securely to prevent damage or loss.
- **Reporting**: Prepare reports on stock levels, material usage, and any discrepancies found.

Required Skills and Qualifications
- **Experience**:Previous experience as a storekeeper, especially in construction, is highly valued.
- Excellent record-keeping and organizational skills are essential.
- Proficiency in using store management software or ERP systems for inventory tracking is often required.
- Immediate joiners are preferred.
