Counter Salesperson

**Who we are**:
**SHIBHAM COMMUNICATION** has been a neighbourhood mobile store in Kestopur since 2019. We repair phones, sell new phones and accessories.

We’ve served 14,400+ customers—and now we want a friendly salesperson who can turn every visitor into a satisfied buyer.
- **Your roles & responsibilities**:_
You’ll greet customers, quickly discover what they need, recommend the best phone/accessory or repair option, and close the sale. You’ll also do billing, update stock records, help with after-sales tasks (warranty notes, return logs), and support simple financial follow-ups. Basic computer skills and a calm “can-do” attitude are essential.
- Welcome customers, listen, and suggest the best solution (phone, accessory, or repair).
- Convert walk-ins into sales — upsell accessories and protection plans.
- Create accurate bills and invoices using our billing software/Excel.
- Keep stock records up-to-date (daily stock updates, receive & log goods).
- Handle after-sales tasks — warranty registration, basic refunds/exchanges, and customer follow-ups.
- Manage the cash/sales register responsibly; reconcile daily sales.
- Work calmly under pressure during busy hours and festivals.
- Keep the shop neat and product displays attractive.

**Skills & experience we prefer -**
- Prior retail or counter sales experience (mobile shop / electronics preferred).
- Comfortable using a computer: billing software, Excel, WhatsApp Business.
- Basic understanding of mobiles (brands, basic specs, IMEI, warranty).
- Good communicator, customer-first mindset, polite & presentable.
- Ability to multitask and handle pressure.
- Experience in simple bookkeeping or handling daily cash is a plus.
- Learning mindset and willingness to train.

**Salary & benefits (suggested structure)**
- Fixed salary: ₹8,000-10,000 per month (depending on experience).
- Performance incentives/commission on sales (uncapped or structured).
- Festival bonus & on-the-job training.
- Discounts on phones & accessories and paid leave per company policy.

**Working hours & location**
- Location: SHIBHAM COMMUNICATION, BC 8 Samar Pally, Kestopur, Kolkata — walk-in interviews welcome.
- Shifts: 12:00 PM - 10:30 PM (with a 1-hour break); flexible rota on weekends/festivals.
- Probation: 3 months with performance review.
- Or walk in between 11 AM and 5 PM with a resume and a photo.

Pay: ₹8,086.00 - ₹10,843.47 per month

**Experience**:

- Mobile Phone Sales: 1 year (required)
