**PURPOSE OF ROLE**

The Digital Commerce team drives the vision and implementation of Insight’s online client experiences.
The Product Owner team takes a leading role in crafting user stories to ensure consistency and quality
of innovative solutions for Insight’s Digital Platforms.
The Product Owner, Digital Commerce will be responsible for driving the vision and implementation of
Insight’s Digital Commerce platform and client experiences. This role will manage relationships with
key cross-functional stakeholders and IT while maintaining a data-driven backlog of innovative features
that differentiate our digital presence and align with business objectives. Our product owner team takes
a leading role in crafting user stories to ensure consistency and quality of innovative solutions.

**KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Work with internal stakeholders and other departments to identify and define new features

and enhancements that solve problems, generate opportunities, and support strategic goals.
- Collaborate with Developers, Product Manager, Product Architect and Creative team to

design and build out product features and user stories that support the strategic Roadmap.
- Collectively own backlog with Product Owner teammates (grooming, prioritization, &
refinement)
- Play a key role in Scrum ceremonies: planning, refinement, review, retrospective, and daily

scrums.
- Responsible for maintaining a groomed backlog of user stories; work with Scrum teams to

estimate story size and complexity
- Research and escalate impediments and/or defects; participate in defect remediation

planning and prioritization.
- Coordinate deployment activities as needed including client review, training modules, and

feature announcements, document key features and functionality in internal Wiki.
- Establish key metrics and reporting to gauge site usage and overall success of new

enhancements.

**QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE**
- Agile and scrum methodology experience, preferably in a product owner role.
- Understanding of software development life cycle concepts and approaches.
- A track record of working closely with IT and development teams to deliver new capabilities.
- Ability to negotiate across stakeholder communities with competing priorities.

**DESIRABLE**
- JIRA and Confluence experience.
- Sufficient understanding of enterprise digital commerce technology to triage technical issues and guide the team to the right solutions.
- Familiarity with experimentation methodologies (i.e. A/B Testing) and other conversion rate optimization techniques.
- Able to gather and use data to research and provide insight or issue resolution.
