**Your Role and Responsibilities**
- Supports global procurement activities and tasks that are not sourcing specific.
- Involves several job role specialties such as business operations, policies and practices, global compliance, client services bid management, supplier contract development and negotiation in support of complex services engagements.
- Lead Large RFP’s and make sure Kyndryl gets the best cost advantage with best business outcome.
- Guiding the commodity specific team in country specific RFX's.
- Responsible for leading a team on demonstrating an effective "Supplier Base Management ". Since its a spread across TZ with lot of tail spend suppliers -its important for the GSL to own the end to end activity and assist in getting the best negotiation with Core suppliers that helps to enhance the client success.
- Responsible for innovative /new savings model designing (based on the situation and need) and implementing the same with the commodity specific team.
- There is a need to have an Excellent Supplier Relation management -Kyndryl being a new entity and with immense market penetration view.
- This is a key activity GSL will plan this.
- Reviewing and working closely on "Go to market " strategy with supplier management -this will align with market specific needs and outlooks.
- Kyndryl will have to win deals and make strong customer relations.
- GSL will play an important role in working with supplier and business leaders.
- Developing Key supplier's basis the projected demands.
- This is required to be FAST in advanced delivery and hence achieving Kyndryl objectives.
- The GSL to make sure that Global Corporate strategy and Time Zone specific commodity strategies are aligned (and to the best interest of the company at a regional and global level).
- ETZ countries are dynamic with changing labour laws related to workforce management, Tax laws impacting cross border sourcing, etc.
- A dedicated person ie GSL here will be required to lead a team of procurement professionals to closely work with country legal/tax and other functions to ensure the suppliers are taking required actions with respect to changes and being compliant and at the same time providing support to Kyndryl and its customers.
- There is a need to improve on commodity specific contract management skills with simplification and automation(as applicable).
- GSL in each TZ will play a vital role here.
- Across countries there is a need for a SME in commodity who will play a key role as mentor /coach and keep himself up to date with market changes and needs so the strategies for the commodity can be flexible and “Fit to market “.
- GSL to play that role.
- With more ad hoc projects coming up, GSL will be Leading various global projects with towers which has implications and outcomes in the markets.
- Need to close work the Market/Country specific procurement leader to make sure the strategies are aligned and help to drive AAA as a key objective in a Flat ,Focused and Fast manne.

**Required Technical and Professional Expertise**
- Have Deep Procurement / Sourcing Experience.
- Good Knowledge on Various Services Sourcing Models.
- Expertise in Contract management.
- Captives hiring knowledge.
- Know-how of supplier sourcing modalities.
- Expertise in various sourcing attributes / cross country.

**Preferred Technical and Professional Experience**
- Technical skills across various countries.
- New age tech skill basics/intermediate preferred.
