**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Teaching and Instruction**:

- Develop and implement lesson plans, teaching materials, and resources that align with the curriculum and address the learning needs of students.
- Use a variety of teaching methods, such as lectures, group discussions, debates, multimedia presentations, and interactive activities, to engage students.
- Create a positive and stimulating classroom environment that encourages active participation and intellectual curiosity.
- **Curriculum Development and Planning**:

- Develop and adapt the social science curriculum in accordance with educational standards and exam requirements (such as CBSE, ICSE, or state boards).
- Plan and execute periodic assessments, quizzes, projects, and assignments to monitor students' understanding of social science concepts.
- **Classroom Management**:

- Manage classroom behavior, maintain discipline, and ensure a respectful learning environment.
- Implement strategies to keep students focused and motivated to engage in class activities and discussions.
- Address individual student learning needs, offering extra help or challenges as required, and maintaining an inclusive atmosphere for all learners.
- **Student Assessment and Evaluation**:

- Create and administer formative and summative assessments, such as quizzes, assignments, presentations, and written exams.
- Evaluate students’ progress and provide timely and constructive feedback to help them improve.
- Track academic progress and prepare reports on students’ performance for parents, guardians, and school administration.
- Provide extra support to students who may be struggling with concepts and offer enrichment activities for those excelling.
- **Parent and Guardian Communication**:

- Conduct parent-teacher meetings to discuss student progress and suggest ways for parents to support learning at home.
- Address any concerns raised by parents regarding student performance, behavior, or academic needs.
- **Professional Development**:

- Stay updated with the latest developments in social science education, teaching methodologies, and examination trends.
- Participate in professional development activities, including workshops, conferences, and training sessions, to enhance teaching effectiveness.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and contribute to the development of school-wide initiatives and best practices.
- **Extracurricular Engagement**:

- Encourage students to participate in school-related social science activities, such as debates, quizzes, and cultural or historical events.
- Organize field trips, projects, or events that enhance the students' learning experience and offer practical exposure to social science topics.
- Serve as a mentor for students, offering guidance on academic and career paths related to social sciences.

Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Morning shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Rajamahendravaram, Andhra Pradesh: Reliably commute or willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (preferred)

**Education**:

- Bachelor's (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Teaching: 2 years (preferred)
