**Summary**:
The Finance Controller for our eCommerce business plays a pivotal role in overseeing the financial activities, ensuring compliance, and providing strategic financial guidance to support the growth and profitability of the eCommerce operations.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Financial Reporting**:
Generate and analyze financial reports specific to eCommerce operations.

Ensure accuracy and timeliness of eCommerce financial statements.

**Budgeting and Forecasting**:
Develop and manage eCommerce budgets and forecasts.

Collaborate with eCommerce teams to align financial plans with business objectives.

**Transaction Oversight**:
Monitor and analyze eCommerce transactions, ensuring proper accounting treatment.

Oversee financial aspects of online sales, refunds, and payment processing.

**Cost Control**:
Implement cost control measures for eCommerce-related expenses.

Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising operational efficiency.

**Payment Gateway Management**:
Collaborate with IT and Operations teams to optimize payment processing and reduce transaction costs.

Evaluate and negotiate contracts with payment service providers.

**Fraud Prevention**:
Implement and oversee fraud prevention measures for online transactions.

Work closely with cybersecurity teams to enhance eCommerce security.

**Inventory Accounting**:
Oversee eCommerce inventory accounting and valuation.

Implement best practices for managing stock levels and minimizing obsolescence.

**Tax Compliance**:
Ensure eCommerce operations comply with tax regulations.

Coordinate with tax advisors to optimize eCommerce tax strategies.

**Analytics and Insights**:
Utilize analytics tools to derive insights into eCommerce financial performance.

Provide actionable recommendations for improving eCommerce profitability.

**Cross-Functional Collaboration**:
Collaborate with Marketing, Operations, and IT teams to align financial strategies with eCommerce goals.

Participate in strategic planning sessions for eCommerce expansion.

**Qualifications and Skills**:
Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or related field. MBA/CA/CMA preferred.

Proven experience as a Finance Controller in an eCommerce or retail setting.

In-depth understanding of eCommerce financial dynamics and trends.

Familiarity with eCommerce platforms and payment processing systems.

Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial modelling.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹90,000.00 per year
