**Job Description for the General Dentist**
- Provide comprehensive dental care, including preventive, restorative, and emergency treatments.
- Diagnose and treat dental issues such as cavities, gum disease, and tooth decay.
- Perform routine cleanings, fillings, extractions, and root canals.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene, preventive care, and treatment options.
- Use diagnostic tools like X-rays and digital imaging to assess dental health.
- Collaborate with dental assistants, hygienists, and other staff to ensure high-quality care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and treatment plans.
- Stay updated with the latest dental practices and technologies.
- Adhere to all health and safety protocols in the dental office.
- Build long-term patient relationships through excellent care and communication.
