Job summary

The Kindle Ingestion and Expansion (KIX) team enables independent authors, content creators and publishers to publish their content as eBooks for distribution to the Kindle Store, Kindle Unlimited and the Kindle Owners’ Lending Library; as well as in print formats for sale on Amazon’s global marketplaces, bookstores and other online retailers using Amazon’s state-of-the-art Print on Demand (POD) technology. KIX is an important part of Amazon’s vision to provide its Kindle and print book customers with the world’s largest selection in the format they prefer - eBook or paperback.

Job functionality Includes:

- Ability to write test plans and come up with Test strategies end to end.
- Ability to Review automation test strategies and also do CR's and debug script issues efficiently.
- Review and analyze Test system specifications
- Collaborate with QA Engineers to develop effective strategies and test plans
- Consistently execute test cases and analyze results in a timely manner
- Generate logs to document testing phases and defects
- Effectively effectively report bugs and errors to development teams.
- Help troubleshoot issues.
- Follow-through and conduct post-release/post-implementation testing
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle
- Qualifications - BE / BTech in computer science, engineering, information technology, or related field
- Significant experience to developing manual test strategies and also develop automation scripts.
- Significant work history showing aptitude for project management and QA methodology
- Working knowledge of Agile frameworks and regression testing is a plus
- Competence in all technical skills needed to document and troubleshoot errors
- Experience and familiarity with test management software
- Strong critical thinking skills, an analytical mind, and problem-solving aptitude
