**Job Summary**:
The MBBS Doctor in the OPD is responsible for delivering high-quality outpatient care, diagnosing and treating acute and chronic illnesses, and ensuring patient well-being through effective consultation, treatment, and follow-up. The role requires collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and adherence to medical protocols and ethical standards.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Patient Consultation**:

- Conduct thorough medical histories, physical examinations, and assessments.
- Diagnose conditions and develop tailored treatment plans.
- Address acute illnesses, minor injuries, and chronic disease management.
- **Treatment & Prescription**:

- Prescribe medications, therapies, and lifestyle modifications.
- Perform minor procedures (e.g., wound suturing, incisions).
- **Patient Education**:

- Advise on preventive healthcare, nutrition, and disease management.
- Ensure clear communication of diagnosis and treatment expectations.
- **Documentation**:

- Maintain accurate electronic medical records (EMRs) and patient files.
- Prepare reports for referrals and legal compliance.
- **Follow-Up Care**:

- Schedule and monitor follow-up visits to track patient progress.
- Adjust treatment plans based on outcomes.
- **Compliance & Ethics**:

- Adhere to clinical protocols, patient confidentiality, and medical ethics.
- Stay updated on healthcare regulations and accreditation standards.
- **Team Collaboration**:

- Work with nurses, paramedics, and administrative staff for efficient OPD operations.
- **Quality Improvement**:

- Participate in audits, training, and initiatives to enhance patient care.
- **Emergency Response**:

- Provide urgent care for OPD emergencies and stabilize patients for transfer.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**: MBBS degree from India
- **Licensing**: Valid medical council registration/license.
