Urgent Opening in Dmart for Quality Assurance in Garments

Job Description The role holder will be responsible for conducting Quality checks for the concerned garment category assigned to him / her.
He / She will need to prepare a Spec and technical sheet for the desired garment reflecting how it will be constructed along with the measurement chart, the niti grities, the desired fit, the final look, etc.
He / She must be aware and possess good knowledge of garments category and fittings. The role holder will be required to check the size sets and provide comments & suggestions. He / She will be responsible for the Garment Fitting and tech pack development and will be involved in all steps right from the intial stage till finalization of the pre production sample and proceed with the final approved sample as per internal processes set. Role will involve end to end quality of sampling. Share feedback and comments with the Reporting Manager, Sourcing and Design Team. Will also need to conduct Warehouse checks on a periodic basis. Conduct benchmarking studies and prepare reports. The role will entail traveling and he / she will be expected to guide internal and external stakeholders as and when required. Ensure adherence to processes at all times and stages of garment sampling till production.
Position will report to the Quality Head
Skills & Experience Graduate in any discipline with min 7 yrs experience in a similar role. An individual who is seeking to make a career in Technical roles
Technical Skills: Should have experience of working as a Sr. Fit Technician. hould be well versed with washes and pattern making. Working Knowledge of SPEC sheet and Technical sheet of the Product. Should be Well versed with the coral Draw and adobe photoshop, Adobe illustrator, MS Office. Knowledge of Proto and SizeSet and PreProduction sampling process.
Soft Skills: He / She must be a team player. Must have strong analytical and insighting skills wih an eye for detail. Understanding of competitive landscapes - propositions, pricing, strategy. Ability to work seamlessly in cross-functional teams, managing complexity and to get work done. Should be willing to travel within city and across cities as and when required.
