**Responsibilities & Key Deliverables**
- '-Efficient management of production operations of Transmission Assembly Line.
- Production Planning and sequencing to achieve daily production plan, for optimum output and daily schedule adherence.
- Manpower & machines/stages planning.
- Process & Product trouble shooting
- Responsible for cost reduction as per set targets
- Ensure quality improvements by reducing rework/ Rejection/ throwback
- Strong focus on "Daily work Management"
- Drive and implement management systems and initiatives such as TPM,NFF, 5s, KAIZEN.
- Good industrial relations to ensure harmonious work environment and maintain good ER and develop the skill of the associates.
- Maintain shop floor discipline and ensure adherence to safe working practices
- Ensure safety procedures are followed at all levels and good housekeeping levels are maintained
- Regular interaction with SQA, PPC, Maintenance and Quality to deliver the Production and Quality targets.
- Ensuring system adherance under IMS
- Responsible for process development and improvement in the existing processes for improving the Productivity, Quality, Delivery and reducing Cost with high customer centric approach.

- B.E Mechanical/Production/Automobile engineering/Industrial Engg.

**General Experience**
- 3-6 Years

- Knowledge of assembly processes & criticality
- Knowledge of preceding and subsequent process like turning, gear cutting, heat treatment & grinding
- Knowledge of 7QC tools, DWM, TPM ,Lean manufacturing, IMS, BBS/ SCM best practices etc.
- Knowledge of DCP, PPAP, APQP
- Knowledge of Labour Laws
- To achieve the targets with optimal utilization of Man,Machine and Material.
- Reduction in conversion cost by identifying opportunities in respective area.
- Knowledge of Grievance handelling mechanism and processes for discipline at the shop floor level.
- Knowledge about benchmark practices.
- Knowledge about Low cost automation technology.
- Knowledge about change management.

- Knowledge about human error prevention techniques
- Knowledge about resource planning and resource optimization through MOST technique / work measurement technique & guideline making
- Achieving production as per TACT time
