Position Overview:
As a Sales Representative in a pre-engineered building manufacturing factory, your primary responsibility will be to generate sales and drive business growth by promoting and selling pre-engineered building solutions to potential clients. You will play a key role in expanding the customer base and establishing long-term relationships with clients in the construction industry. Your expertise in understanding customer requirements and effectively presenting the benefits of pre-engineered buildings will contribute to the success of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Relationship Management:
Identify and target potential customers in the construction industry.
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
Understand customer needs, preferences, and project requirements.
Provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales process.
Sales Generation:
Actively seek out new business opportunities through various channels, including networking, referrals, and cold calling.
Conduct market research to identify potential projects and market trends.
Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve sales targets.
Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations to prospective clients.
Prepare accurate and competitive sales quotations and proposals.
Negotiate terms and conditions of contracts, ensuring a win-win situation for both the client and the organization.
Follow up on leads and inquiries promptly and professionally.
Product Knowledge and Expertise:
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions.
Provide technical guidance and assistance to clients regarding product specifications, customization options, and installation processes.
Collaborate with the engineering and design teams to develop customized solutions based on customer requirements.
Collaboration and Reporting:
Coordinate with internal departments, such as engineering, design, production, and logistics, to ensure smooth project execution.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales records, including customer interactions, sales activities, and sales pipeline using CRM software.
Collaborate with the sales team and sales management to develop sales strategies and achieve overall company objectives.
Provide regular reports and updates on sales performance, market trends, and customer feedback to the management team.
Qualifications and Skills:
MBA graduate is preferred.
Proven experience in sales or business development, preferably in the construction or building materials industry.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
Strong negotiation and presentation abilities.
Self-motivated and results-oriented with a drive to meet or exceed sales targets.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Technical aptitude and the ability to understand complex products.
Willingness to travel as required to meet with clients and attend industry events.
