Riverpoint Solutions is a food manufacturing company headquartered in Chennai and has a production facility in Krishnagiri. The company has multiple brands including the “N” Brand for Bakery, Cakes, Confectionaries, and millet-based savouries and short eats under the brand “Millet magic” and other various short eats under “HaaHaar”. The company currently supplies its products through distributors and supermarkets in Karnataka and Tamil Nadu.

It also engages in customized contract-based food manufacturing to various major brands in FMCG and Food Supply companies such as Nilgiris, Reliance and other upcoming QSR and Food brands. With a strong pipeline of innovative food product portfolio in bakery and short eats company is planning to scale its production.

**Role Summary for a Bakery Chef**

**Roles and Responsibilities**
- Has working and operating knowledge of Cakes, Confectionery, and Bakery products from scratch.
- Manages all day-to-day operations by keeping the required ingredients ready for the mix.
- Follow proper handling and possess complete knowledge on the right temperature of all food products.
- Engage, coordinate and supervise all food preparation and presentation activities with the team.
- Checks the quality of raw and finished products to ensure that standards are met.
- Report all equipment problems and maintenance issues, known safety hazards, or unsafe practices and procedures.
- Attends all scheduled employee meetings and brings suggestions for improvement.
- Must possess a positive attitude and have the ability to work with a variety of people and cooperate with co-workers efficiently and effectively
- Ensuring culinary standards and responsibilities are met for the team.
- Maintains cleanliness and organization in all work areas.
- Ensure compliance with food hygiene and Health and Safety standards.

**Position Type and Expected Hours of Work**
- Timings: 9 AM to 7 PM, One day holiday during the week
- Location: Krishnagiri

**Required Education and Experience**
- 5+years hands on experience in the Bakery and confectionery industry.
- Diploma or equivalent in the relevant industry.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills
- Exceptionally good with the Bakery activities from the ground work.
- Dependable and reliable
