**Job Description of a Staff Nurse**

**Staff Nurse Responsibilities**:

- Provide high-quality patient care and maintain safety of the patient (bed making, changing of bed sheets, administering IM and IV injections, assisting during intubations, ALS, BLS support during code blue etc.)
- Identify hazards in the workplace and provide solutions.
- Treat emergency injuries and document all injuries and illnesses.
- Develop programs to maintain health and safety.
- Fulfil all basic needs (hygienic need, nutritional need etc) of the patients.
- Coordinate with physicians and other multidisciplinary healthcare professionals for creating and evaluating individualised care plans for patients.
- Assess, observe and record the patient’s general health conditions.
- Maintain records and reports of patient’s medical histories and monitor developments in their health conditions.
- Be alert and observant on every aspect of patient care including diet, physical activities and psychosocial interactions.
- Review medications, administer medications and treatments of patients as indicated by their general health conditions and response to treatment.
- Provide immediate and advanced care during medical emergencies, like accidents, 1stdegree burns, cardiac arrest, stroke etc.
- Monitor and manage good health and wellbeing of patients and ensure quality care in a health care facility setting.
- Assist and support doctors, physicians or clinicians in providing therapeutic interventions.
- Educate and counsel patients and their families in therapy administration.
- Adhere to and comply with hospital or corporate procedures and guidelines in wellness nursing activities

**Staff Nurse Requirements**:

- Preferred age group 27 years and above
- till 40
- A nursing degree. (BSC/ANM/GNM)
- Post qualification nursing experience of 3 to 4 years.
- Valid nursing board registration.
- Confident and able to work in a multicultural team.
- Maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.
- Continue professional development activities.

**Salary**: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
