Admission Counselor

Mayoor School of Music is seeking a motivated and dedicated Admission Counselor to join our team. As an Admission Counselor, you will play a vital role in attracting and enrolling students for our diverse range of music and dance programs, including Hindustani classical, ghazal, bhajan, sufi, kathak, western dance, and Bollywood songs. You will be responsible for guiding prospective students and their families through the admission process, providing them with information about our programs, addressing their queries, and helping them make informed decisions about their musical education.

**Responsibilities**:

- Serve as the primary point of contact for prospective students and their families, providing exceptional customer service throughout the admission process.
- Provide accurate and detailed information about our music and dance programs, including course offerings, faculty, curriculum, schedules, fees, and any other relevant information.
- Conduct admissions interviews and assessments to evaluate prospective students' skill levels, interests, and goals, and make appropriate program recommendations based on their abilities.
- Advise prospective students on the best-fit programs, guiding them in selecting the most suitable classes based on their preferences, interests, and musical aspirations.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement strategies for student recruitment and outreach, including attending events, fairs, and workshops to promote our programs.
- Participate in training sessions and stay updated on industry trends, program updates, and new offerings to effectively communicate the benefits of our courses.
- Collaborate with other team members, including faculty, administrative staff, and management, to ensure a smooth and efficient admission process.
- Contribute to the overall growth and success of the Mayoor School of Music by meeting enrolment targets and supporting various marketing initiatives.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Music, Arts, or Education, is preferred.
- Proven experience in admissions counseling, student recruitment, or a related field, preferably in an educational institution or performing arts organization.
- Strong knowledge and passion for music and dance, including Hindustani classical, ghazal, bhajan, sufi, kathak, western dance, and Bollywood songs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish positive relationships with students and parents.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, ensuring accurate record-keeping and timely follow-up with prospective students.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Flexibility to work as required, to accommodate student appointments and events.

**Salary**: ₹25,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Noida, Uttar Pradesh: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
