**Position Title**: Quality Production Professional

**Reports To**: SQM-Lead

**Department**: Supplier Quality Management

**Educational Qualification**: BE in Electronics Engineering

**Position Level**: Executive

**Experience**: 5-8 yrs of experience

**Skill**: Component Qualification and approval process
Component testing and failure analysis, datasheet/ spec verification and comparison
Communication and presentation skills

**Ability and Knowledge**: Good knowledge about Electronics and Electrical components.
Good knowledge of component CTQ's, testing and validation.
Failure analysis of components and ability to drive improvements.

**Responsibilities**:
To carry out entire component approval process as per the defined procedure and maintaining the qualification records.
Verify the test reports and other documents related to components.
Addressing the technical queries related to components, if needed consulting with Hebburn and Berlin CE teams.
To ensure that the qualified and preferred suppliers are used for new developments and also to ensure the usage of qualified parts where applicable.
To follow up for the Corrective actions for the issues observed during the qualification of components.
To participate in technical review discussion with supplier and supports PPAP activities.
To help and support SPR for finding the alternate source for different components.
Conduct supplier audits for supplier selection and process improvements.
To support in root cause analysis and corrective action for component related issues.
To Maintain/retain documents as per QMS requirement.
To achieve agreed KPI's.
To carry out other jobs as identified by reporting manager.
To involve in component related issues in production and contributes for the solutions / improvements.

**Position Level in Org Structure**: Individual Contributor

**Technical Competencies**:
Component Knowledge, Knowledge of PPAP, PCN Management, Component Qualification process, Ability to understand of specification/ drawings, 8D, CA/PA, Component testing, Failure Analysis.

**Additional Knowledge**: Awareness and expertise in ISO 9001 Internal Auditor, IEC 61340 Internal Auditor, SQME Certified, IPC 610 Certified.
