The Playgroup Teacher is responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for young children (typically ages 2-4). The teacher will facilitate early childhood learning through play-based activities, songs, stories, and interactive experiences, while also supporting children’s social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote curiosity, creativity, and early learning.
- Foster a warm, caring, and inclusive classroom environment.
- Encourage the development of basic skills such as listening, speaking, motor skills, and social interaction.
- Introduce children to routines and good habits (toilet training, hygiene, sharing, tidiness, etc.).
- Use storytelling, rhymes, songs, art, and play to enhance language and cognitive skills.
- Observe, assess, and document children’s progress and behavior.
- Communicate regularly with parents/guardians about their child’s development, needs, and achievements.
- Ensure safety, cleanliness, and organization of the classroom and play areas.
- Collaborate with assistant teachers and staff to maintain smooth functioning of the playgroup.
- Attend staff meetings, training, and professional development sessions as required.

**Qualifications & Skills**:

- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Early Childhood Education / Montessori Training (preferred).
- Previous experience working with young children in a preschool/playgroup setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with children.
- Creativity in designing engaging activities and lessons.
- Ability to manage a classroom with energy, enthusiasm, and care.

**Work Conditions**:

- Indoor and outdoor classroom/playground settings.
- Requires lifting, bending, and actively engaging with children.
- Flexible to participate in school events, celebrations, and parent meetings.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
