**Role & Responsibilities**:

- Develop and deliver art lessons that align with the school's curriculum and educational standards.
- Teach students about various art techniques, styles, and mediums.
- Encourage creativity and self-expression in students through art projects and assignments.
- Provide constructive feedback to students and communicate with parents about their child's progress.
- Create a safe and supportive classroom environment that fosters learning and creativity.
- Stay up-to-date with new art techniques, technologies, and trends to enhance teaching methods and student learning.
- Participate in school-wide events and activities, such as art shows, exhibitions, and performances.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and progress.

**Qualification and skills required**:

- Bachelor's/ Master's degree in Art Education (BFA / MFA )
- Experience teaching art at the elementary or secondary level
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage a classroom effectively and maintain a positive learning environment
- Experience with project-based learning and/or interdisciplinary teaching
- Experience collaborating with other teachers and staff to support student learning
- Passion for art and a commitment to promoting creativity and self-expression in students
