Position Overview:
Key Responsibilities:

- Migration Strategy and Planning: Develop a comprehensive migration strategy for transitioning from the existing IAM system to PingFederate and PingOne. This includes risk assessment and timeline development- Configuration and Customization: Customize PingFederate and PingOne to meet organizational requirements, including configuring authentication flows, authorization policies, and user directories.
- Data Migration: Oversee the migration of identity data, user profiles, and access control policies to the new platform while ensuring data integrity and security.
- Testing and Validation: Create and execute test plans to validate the migration, ensuring all identity services function as expected post-migration. Address and resolve any issues that arise during testing.
- Documentation: Document all configurations, customizations, and the migration process to provide a comprehensive reference for future maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Training and Support: Provide training and support to IT staff and end-users to facilitate the transition to the new system and ensure a seamless user experience.
- Post-Migration Optimization: Identify and implement opportunities for optimization and improvements in the IAM infrastructure following the migration.

Required Qualifications:

- Experience: At least 5 years of experience in identity and access management, with a minimum of 3 years specifically focused on Ping Identity solutions (PingFederate and PingOne).
- Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of PingFederate and PingOne, including hands-on experience with SSO, MFA, WS-Federation, SAML, OAuth, and OIDC. Experience with cloud-based IAM is a plus.
- Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to identity management systems.
- Communication: Strong communication skills, capable of explaining technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Certifications related to Ping Identity or IAM are highly desirable.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience with other IAM solutions (ForgeRock).
- Familiarity with security standards and compliance requirements (e.g., GDPR, SOX).
- Experience in a DevOps or Agile environment.
