**Job Overview**:
As an X-ray technician, you will be responsible for operating X-ray equipment to capture images of patients' internal structures for diagnostic purposes. Your role involves preparing patients for X-ray procedures, ensuring their safety and comfort during the process, and producing high-quality images for physicians to interpret. You will also be responsible for maintaining and calibrating equipment, adhering to safety protocols, and accurately documenting patient information and procedure results.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Prepare patients for X-ray procedures by explaining the process, positioning them correctly, and ensuring their safety and comfort.
- Operate X-ray equipment to capture images of patients' internal structures, following established protocols and safety procedures.
- Position and adjust patients and equipment to obtain the best possible images while minimizing radiation exposure.
- Review and evaluate images for quality and accuracy, ensuring that all necessary anatomical structures are visible and properly positioned.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure that X-ray procedures are conducted efficiently and effectively.
- Maintain and calibrate X-ray equipment to ensure optimal performance and adherence to safety standards.
- Follow all relevant regulations and guidelines regarding radiation safety and patient confidentiality.
- Maintain accurate records of patient information, procedure results, and equipment maintenance activities.
- Participate in continuing education and training to stay updated on advances in radiologic technology and techniques.
- Provide assistance and support to other members of the healthcare team as needed.

**Qualifications**:

- Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program.
- Certification or licensure as a radiologic technologist (depending on state requirements).
- Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and radiographic techniques.
- Proficiency in operating X-ray equipment and related technology.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to patient care, safety, and confidentiality.

**Preferred Skills and Experience**:

- Previous experience working as an X-ray technician or radiologic technologist.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
- Additional certifications or specialized training in specific areas of radiologic technology (e.g., computed tomography, magnetic resonance imaging).

**Working Conditions**:

- X-ray technicians typically work in hospitals, clinics, diagnostic imaging centers, or other healthcare settings.
- The job may involve standing for extended periods and lifting or assisting patients as needed.
- X-ray technicians may be exposed to radiation, so strict adherence to safety protocols is essential.

**Salary**: ₹10,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
