Job Description - Nursing Faculty

1. Nursing Tutor**Job Summary**:
The Nursing Tutor will be responsible for assisting students in their practical and theoretical learning, supporting senior faculty, and ensuring high-quality nursing education.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Conduct practical training and demonstrations for nursing students.
- Assist in classroom teaching under senior faculty supervision.
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback.
- Guide students during clinical postings in hospitals.
- Help prepare study materials and assessments.
- Stay updated with the latest nursing practices and guidelines.

**Qualifications & Experience**:

- B.Sc. Nursing with at least 1 year of clinical/teaching experience.
- Good communication and mentoring skills.

2. Assistant Professor - Nursing**Job Summary**:
The Assistant Professor is responsible for teaching, mentoring students, and participating in research and academic development in the department of Child Health Nursing, Mental Health Nursing, Community Health Nursing, and Obstetrics & Gynecology (OBG).

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Teach undergraduate and postgraduate nursing students.
- Conduct and supervise research activities.
- Guide students in their dissertations and projects.
- Develop lesson plans, assessments, and course materials.
- Assist in curriculum development and academic planning.
- Participate in faculty meetings and professional development programs.

**Qualifications & Experience**:

- M.Sc. Nursing with at least 3 years of teaching experience.
- Specialization in any nursing discipline (Medical-Surgical, Obstetrics & Gynecology, Pediatrics, etc.).
- Strong communication and research skills.

3. Associate Professor - Nursing**Job Summary**:
The Associate Professor is responsible for advanced teaching, research, and leadership in the department of Child Health Nursing, Mental Health Nursing, Community Health Nursing, and Obstetrics & Gynaecology (OBG).


**Key Responsibilities**:

- Deliver high-quality teaching and curriculum development.
- Supervise postgraduate and doctoral research projects.
- Guide and mentor junior faculty members.
- Contribute to institutional academic policies and development.
- Organize workshops, conferences, and training sessions.
- Publish research papers and participate in academic collaborations.

**Qualifications & Experience**:

- M.Sc. Nursing with at least 8 years of teaching experience OR Ph.D. in Nursing with relevant experience.
- Leadership and mentoring abilities.

4. Vice Principal - Nursing**Job Summary**:
The Vice Principal supports the Principal in managing academic and administrative activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. in the department of Child Health Nursing, Mental Health Nursing, Community Health Nursing, and Obstetrics & Gynecology (OBG).

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist in strategic planning and administration of nursing programs.
- Supervise faculty, students, and academic operations.
- Ensure compliance with Nursing Council and university guidelines.
- Support faculty development and training initiatives.
- Monitor student performance and overall academic quality.
- Represent the institution at academic and professional forums.

**Qualifications & Experience**:

- M.Sc. Nursing with at least 10 years of teaching experience.
- Strong leadership and administrative skills.

5. Principal - Nursing**Job Summary**:
The Principal is the head of the nursing institution, responsible for overall academic and administrative leadership. in the department of Child Health Nursing, Mental Health Nursing, Community Health Nursing, and Obstetrics & Gynecology (OBG).

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Lead and manage all nursing academic programs.
- Ensure compliance with accreditation and regulatory bodies (INC, State Nursing Council).
- Develop institutional policies, curriculum, and research initiatives.
- Oversee faculty recruitment, training, and development.
- Manage student admissions, academic planning, and institutional growth.
- Represent the college in national and international forums.

**Qualifications & Experience**:

- M.Sc. Nursing with a minimum of 15 years of academic experience OR Ph.D. in Nursing with administrative experience.
- Excellent leadership, strategic planning, and communication skills.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
