We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented **Tax and Audit Assistant** to join our team. This role will provide you with valuable exposure to tax preparation, auditing procedures, and financial reporting. As part of a dynamic team, you will be responsible for assisting with audits and tax filings, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, and gaining a solid understanding of key financial practices.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Audit Support**:

- Assist in the planning, execution, and completion of audits for corporate and individual clients.
- Help in preparing audit working papers and financial statements.
- Perform fieldwork and support audit managers in identifying key risk areas.
- **Taxation Assistance**:

- Prepare tax returns for individual clients and corporate entities.
- Assist with tax planning and advisory services under the guidance of senior team members.
- Conduct research on tax regulations, identify tax-saving opportunities, and ensure timely compliance.
- **Financial Reporting**:

- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and other regulatory filings.
- Maintain accurate records and support senior accountants with financial analysis.
- **Client Interaction**:

- Communicate with clients to gather information and address queries.
- Ensure clients’ needs are met efficiently and professionally.
- **General Administrative Tasks**:

- Organize documentation and assist in maintaining client files.
- Assist in other office tasks as required.

**Required Qualifications and Skills**:

- **Education**:

- Graduate (B.Com, BBA, or related field) or pursuing an undergraduate degree in accounting, finance, or a related discipline.
- **Skills and Abilities**:

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Basic understanding of accounting and taxation concepts.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
- Detail-oriented and highly organized.

**Preferred Qualifications (Optional)**:

- Previous internship or experience in accounting, auditing, or taxation (preferred, but not required).
- Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks) or tax filing platforms (e.g., ClearTax, Xero) is a plus.
