**Title**:Intern - BEOL/Inductor/EMAG Compact modeling

**About GlobalFoundries**:
**Introduction**:
Characterization and Modeling of Back-end of line devices like Inductors, Capacitors, Transmission lines, Transformers etc.

Works closely with device and other modeling engineers to interpret test results and debug device and measurement issues. Applies knowledge of semiconductor physics and devices to evaluate and analyze test results. Prepares reports summarizing results or to make technical recommendations. Development and validation of the process files for Electromagnetic tools like EMX, Momentum etc. Work with Electromagnetic tool vendors to solve device and tool related issues.

**Your Job**:

- RF knowledge of Back-end of line devices like Inductors, Capacitors, Transmission Lines
- Able to understand and debug EM simulation issues
- Characterize and Model various Back end of line devices like Inductors, Transformers, Transmission lines, Capacitors etc.

**Required Qualifications**
- Education (minimum qualification): Ph.D (Semiconductors, Microelectronics or RF Electronics)
- Must have taken relevant courses on Semiconductor Device Physics, Model extraction (Compact modeling), RF Microelectronics and VLSI.
